Mineral Resources Minister Mosebenzi Zwane will this evening deliver a keynote address at the Council for Geoscience’s (CGS) awards evening.

The initiative is aimed at recognising excellence in employees in the organisation, as part of capacitating State institutions in line with objectives in the National Development Plan (NDP).

The CGS, an entity reporting to the Minister of Mineral Resources, is the custodian of the country’s geoscientific information and research. Among those who will be recognised are employees who have recently acquired their Masters and PhD degrees in geosciences and related fields.
