Mineral Resources Minister Mosebenzi Zwane has welcomed the endorsement by Cabinet of the appointment of the Department’s Director-General. Advocate Thabo Mokoena, whose appointment was endorsed by Cabinet yesterday, holds an LLB degree from the University of the Western Cape as well as a Post Graduate Diploma in Law. The Minister wishes him well in his position. The Minister further wishes to thank Mr David Msiza, who has been acting in the DG position, for his commitment and dedication to the task. Adv. Mokoena will commence his duties in April 2017.
