The Minister of Mineral Resources, Mr Gwede Mantashe will lead officials of the Department of Mineral Resources in consultation with the Northern Cape mining communities. These consultations are aimed at getting people's valuable inputs on the Mining Charter before it is finalized and Gazetted.

The Northern Cape province will be the 4th province to be consulted since the first consultations held in April this year.
