The Deputy Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy, Dr Nobuhle Nkabane (MP) will on Saturday, 21 May 2022 officially launch the R4.4 billion worth Roggeveld Wind Farm in the Western Cape.

Roggeveld Wind Farm is an operational 147 MW wind power plant. It is one of the successful projects that signed the Power Purchase Agreement as part of Bid Window 4 of the government’s Renewable Energy Independent Procurement Programme (REIPPPP).
