The Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy, Mr Gwede Mantashe (MP), will on Thursday, 30 March 2023, officially open the two-day North West Mining and Energy Investment Conference at the Sun City Superbowl, North West Province.

Hosted by the Department of Mineral Resources and Energy (DMRE) in partnership with the North West provincial government, the conference brings together key stakeholders in the mining and energy sector including government officials, investors, sectoral specialists, research institutions, and business forums.

Delegates at the Conference are expected to rigorously deliberate on investment opportunities and on areas of potential collaboration between government and the private sector aimed at building a globally competitive and transformed mineral and energy sector. The conference will further highlight and promote key junior mining projects in the North West province.
